This Dual Speed Model combines the Model 406 with the Model 409. The Model 406 is the fastest Hub Motors Crystalyte makes, but will choke up on even small hills without pedal assist. It will deliver speeds in the 33 to 28 mph in a 26" wheel. The Model 409 is a hill killer if you pedal assist. The Model 409 will deliver speeds in the 17 to 23 mph range in a 26” wheel. The Speeds stated are at 48 volts. Subtract 5mph on speeds at 36 volts. The Motor is available in front or rear wheel and can be mounted in 16”, 20”, 24”,26”, and 700c wheel. Please specify wheel size front or rear wheel. The Kit comes with the follow:

You may select 4 ea. 12V 10AH SLA Batteries = 48V. You will receive a 48V Charger with this option. If you select the 48V Batteries, then you must also select to upgrade the Motor Controller. You may select that option below.
